My Story

Hey, I'm Julie!

Navigating fitness and training through pregnancy and postpartum is tough. As a previous college athlete, runner, and cross fitter, I was overwhelmed moving forward with all the unknowns. I had questions like: What symptoms do I look for? How do I modify workouts? What am I supposed to do? What am I NOT supposed to do? How do I feel like myself again? Am I going to lose my fitness? Where do I even start! 

That's why I decided to invest in the education and resources to confidently move forward with training. I got certified as a Pregnancy + Postpartum Athletic Coach, and have been applying the techniques to my training background and current programming. 

 

My goal is to help other moms safely and effectively navigate strength training through motherhood. Whether you're new to strength training or want help adjusting your workouts, I'd love to meet you! 

How It Works

Work with me in 3 easy steps: 

Connect

Shoot me a text or an email! Then I'll have you fill out an intake form that will help me get a better understanding of your history and goals.

Initial Assessment

Our first session will be at my home gym where we’ll walk through some basic movements, assess for any symptoms, and talk through your goals and how we can work together to accomplish them.

Game Plan

I’ll write up a specific strength training routine for you to follow, or give you adjustments to make to your own training. Then we can schedule follow up sessions as needed!

What to Expect

During your Pregnancy & Postpartum Strength Training  Experience
  • Recognize and understand your baseline tendencies

  • Look for and address any symptoms 

  • Make adjustments to movements and activities to accommodate the season of life you’re in

  • Coach you through your preferred fitness activities 

  • Encourage you as you navigate pregnancy and postpartum 

  • A safe space to bring your kiddos while you train

  • Get recommendations and referrals to other professionals (PFPT, Chiro, etc) 

  • Focus on laying a strong foundation to maintain a lifestyle of fitness for years to come 

  • HELP YOU BUILD BACK YOUR STRONG 💪🏼
